I understand that by driving, riding, walking or running the passes included in this challenge, that I expose my myself to several dangers, many of which could be life threatening. The nature of off-road routes are subject to severe weather, hail, electrical storms, rock-falls, strong winds, snow and ice and that I understand that I need to be completely self-sufficient in terms of my personal well being and safety, my vehicle as well as those of my passengers (if applicable). I will not hold Mountain Passes South Africa, it's members/directors, nor any of the sponsors involved in this challenge, legally liable in any form, should I, or my vehicle, or passengers come to any harm, including physical harm or death. Mountain Passes South Africa is a website dedicated to the research, documentation, photographing and filming of the mountain passes of South Africa.

Passes are classified according to provinces and feature a text description, Fact File including GPS data, a fully interactive dual-view map and a narrated YouTube video.
